Common future

In Belfast on 24 March 2025, women workers and trade unionists will rise together towards our collective future. The slogan “Collective Women Voices, Common Future” underlines the 6th UNI Europa Regional Conference’s focus on collective bargaining, emphasising the importance of including women and their issues when bargaining for workers’ rights to build a common future for all.

UNI Europa’s Equal Opportunities department has been at the forefront of structuring comprehensive initiatives and campaigns to progress the rights of women workers, so that they enjoy the same opportunities and can fully participate in the workplace in line with their male counterparts. Collective bargaining is at the core of what we do, as well as working in collaboration with all UNI Sectors and Regions, to ensure our collective voices are heard.

With the Women’s Conference, we are reinvigorating our efforts towards progressing youth workers, eliminating violence and harassment, and protecting women’s health, safety and working conditions.
